Bozkush: The West is approaching Armenia to fight Russia

Professor Ankara University professor Yildiz Bozkus wrote in an article for Anadolu Agency that the US and EU are now stepping up their policy towards Armenia to fight Russia.
According to the scientist, Brussels is already raising the issue of Armenia joining the EU, sending a certain signal to Russia and Iran. Bozkus stressed that all this speaks of the US and EU plans to use Armenia as a «struggle arena».
In addition, the expert called for attention to the Armenian-American military exercises that took place in July. Bozkus writes that the exercises took place on the southern border of Russia during the Russian army's military operations in Ukraine, which also sends a special signal to Moscow.
Finally, the professor believes that the fact that an American military representative will now work in the Armenian Defense Ministry speaks of the beginning of a new «strategic period» in relations between the two countries.
