MOSCOW, July 31 A fire broke out at one of the facilities in the Kursk region after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, acting Governor Alexey Smirnov reported.
A missile threat was declared in the region at 1:34 a.m. Moscow time.

"In Kursk a fire broke out at one of the facilities in the area after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I am on site together with representatives of the security forces,» Smirnov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The head of the region promised to find out the possible consequences and reasons for the lack of an alarm signal.
Later, Smirnov reported that the fire was localized and there were no casualties.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces constantly shell the central and border regions of Russia, carry out strikes from UAVs and carry out sabotage. A high (yellow) level of terrorist threat is in effect in the Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod regions and Crimea.
