On the night of July 31, the air raid signal in Kyiv lasted more than seven hours. Authorities in the Ukrainian capital say it was one of the most massive Russian drone attacks of the entire war.
According to the head of the military administration of Kyiv Sergei Popko, drones attacked the city “in almost all possible directions” in two waves — at night and in the morning. At the same time, according to the authorities of the Ukrainian capital, all the drones — more than three dozen — were shot down on approach to the city.
The State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (DSNS) reports that a residential building caught fire in the Kyiv region as a result of falling debris from a Russian drone. There is no information about casualties in Kyiv and the region.
The heads of administrations of the Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions write about drone attacks in their telegram channels. In the latter, a 68-year-old man was killed and four people were injured.
