The Japanese brand has unveiled the 2025 model year SUV. The prices for this car on the American market have remained the same.
Mazda introduced its three-row CX-90 crossover, intended primarily for the American market, in February 2023. Recall that the length of the flagship is 5100 mm (taking into account the front license plate holder — 5121 mm), width — 2156 mm, height — 1732/1745 mm (depending on the version), and the distance between the axles is 3119 mm. Now the «regular» office of the Japanese brand has presented a large SUV of the 2025 model year.

The main change was the appearance of a new «darkened» Premium Sport version. This CX-90 received a radiator grille made of glossy black plastic, dark chrome decorative elements, original two-tone 21-inch wheels, black housings of traditional exterior mirrors and roof rails of the same color. The list of equipment includes a trunk with an electric drive and a hands-free opening function, as well as a panoramic sunroof.
On the front panel of such a crossover there is a 12.3-inch virtual instrument panel and a touchscreen of the infotainment system of the same diagonal. The list of equipment also includes a Bose audio system with 12 speakers, a driver's seat with electrical adjustments in eight positions, a projection screen, as well as a frameless interior mirror with auto-dimming and HomeLink function.
Mazda CX-90 2025 model year, the list of driver assistants includes frontal and secondary collision prevention systems, an emergency lane keeping function with a blind spot assistant, and others. The crossover was also equipped with a new wireless charger for smartphones, as well as front and rear parking sensors.

The Premium Sport version can be equipped with either a 3.3-liter e-Skyactiv-G inline petrol turbo six-cylinder engine or a plug-in hybrid system: it is based on a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that works in tandem with an electric motor and a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. The total output of this system is 327 hp, and the maximum torque is 500 Nm. Such an SUV can travel up to 42 km on electric traction alone. In both cases, the kit includes an eight-speed automatic, the drive is only all-wheel drive with a clutch for connecting the front axle.
The prices of the crossover, despite the new model year, remained the same. Thus, the starting price of the Mazda CX-90 on the American market is still $ 37,845 (equivalent to about 3.22 million rubles at the current exchange rate). For the new Premium Sport version with a 3.3-liter engine, they are asking at least $ 46,400 (about 3.94 million rubles), for the version with a PHEV installation — at least $ 54,900 (about 4.67 million rubles). The purchase of the top version will cost $56,450 (about 4.8 million rubles).
Recall that another Mazda model for the North American market should be the two-row crossover CX-70. Last fall, it became known that the model was delayed. It is known that this SUV will share the engine line with the flagship.
