MOSCOW, July 30 The Spanish national team lost to the Egyptian team in the third and final match of the group stage of the football tournament of the Olympic Games in Paris.
The Group C match ended with a score of 2:1. Ibrahim Adel scored twice for the winners (40th and 62nd minutes). Samu Omorodion scored for the Spanish team (90).
In another match of the day, the Dominican Republic and Uzbekistan national teams played a draw (1:1).
Following the results of the group stage, the national teams of Egypt (7 points) and Spain (6) advanced to the playoffs. The Dominican Republic team (2) came in third, while the Uzbek team (1) took fourth place.
