MOSCOW, August 1 Several hundred protesters gathered near the residence British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Downing Street in London after an incident of attack on children in the city of Southport, but did not disperse after the established time limit for the protest, as a result of a clash with police, “dozens” of people were detained, the Telegraph reports.

According to Sky News, protesters gathered outside the residence for a protest called «Enough is Enough» after unconfirmed claims were made that the attacker on children in Southport was a refugee.
The channel's report noted that demonstrators chanted «Rule Britannia!», slogans such as «save our children» and «no more boats» (referring to those that bring refugees to the UK via the English Channel).
On Wednesday, Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said that British law enforcement officers had arrested three people in the unrest in the English town of Southport that erupted after a stabbing that left three children dead.

Police also confirmed that they do not link the attack to terrorism. According to police, the attack allegedly occurred during a dance class for children in the style of American singer Taylor Swift.
