MOSCOW, August 1 Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko, commenting on the possibility of restoring diplomatic relations with Georgia, said that at the moment there are no contacts with the Georgian parliament due to Tbilisi's fault, but Russia is ready for dialogue if the Georgian side wants it.
«Unfortunately, there are no contacts yet, obviously not due to our fault, difficult political processes are underway in Georgia, a lot is being rethought… If Georgia wants dialogue, we are ready now,» she said at a press conference.
She noted that elections will be held in Georgia in October, and they will determine the country's future socio-economic path.
