TULA, July 31 One person was killed and two were injured in a collision of seven vehicles on Kaluga Highway in Tula, the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region told reporters.
«On July 31, 2024, at 1:40 p.m., at 60 Kaluga Highway, Tula, a collision of seven vehicles occurred. As a result of the accident, one person died and two were injured. They are receiving medical assistance,» the report says.
It is specified that the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Tula Region urges drivers to choose detour routes due to traffic congestion in the area where the accident occurred. All causes of the incident are being established.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Tula Region, posted on the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media website, one of the participants in the accident was a UAZ vehicle belonging to the medical service. It was its passenger, a medical worker born in 1958, who died from her injuries, and the driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The driver of another Tank was hospitalized with various injuries.
