MOSCOW, July 31 Telegram has added the ability to turn on the flash in video messages to its mobile application for Android and iOS, as well as a section with mini-applications based on the messenger, new search features and several other functions, the messenger reported on its website.
So, now while recording a video message, the user can turn on the flash on both the front and rear cameras.
In turn, in the «Search» section among chats, channels, files, and so on, a tab with popular mini-applications appeared.
The messenger also launched a built-in browser: now you can collapse pages and expand them from the bottom panel. It supports browsing decentralized sites in the TON network. Now, when you receive a new message, you can go to the chat without losing open web pages, articles or games in mini-apps, and also add a page to bookmarks to return to it later.
In addition, messenger users can add an animated weather widget, a music track, links or geolocation to the story — this is available in the «Stickers» tab in the story editor. When publishing a video story in a profile, you can set any of its frames as a cover.
It is also reported that now Telegram «Stars» can be purchased as a gift for users from your contact list.
