MOSCOW, July 31 Two foreigners are suspected of beating and kidnapping an acquaintance in Korolev, demanding 700 thousand rubles from her, which she allegedly stole, according to the Telegram channel of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
«Two foreign citizens born in 1997 and 1986 have been detained. They are suspected of kidnapping a 33-year-old girl and extorting money from her (paragraphs «a», «b», «g», «z» of Part 2 of Article 126, paragraphs «a», «b», «g» of Part 2 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),» the statement said.
According to the investigation, on July 28, the suspects, while at the Novye Gorki Hotel in Korolev, beat up an acquaintance, forcibly placed her in a car and began to demand 700 thousand rubles, which she allegedly stole from one of the men. Then they took her to Krasnogorsk, where they transferred her to another car. In Kashira, the men were stopped by traffic police officers, to whom the victim was able to tell about her abduction, as a result of which the girl was freed and the kidnappers were detained.
