MOSCOW, August 1 The work of the presidential administration has not changed much after the May reshuffle, everyone has known each other for a long time and «have eaten a pound of salt» together, said the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.
In May, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on appointments to the leadership of the presidential administration. Maxim Oreshkin, Dmitry Kozak, Magomedsalam Magomedov and Vladimir Ostrovenko were appointed deputy heads of the presidential administration. Nikolai Patrushev, Alexey Dyumin, Vladimir Medinsky, Dmitry Mironov, Andrey Fursenko, Yury Ushakov, Ruslan Edelgeriev, Dmitry Shalkov, Larisa Brycheva, Dmitry Kalimulin have been appointed assistants to the President of the Russian Federation. Putin has appointed Anton Kobyakov, Elena Yampolskaya, Valery Fadeyev and Igor Levitin as presidential advisers.
«No. Firstly, all the new colleagues are old acquaintances with whom we have gone through many difficult and creative situations, and have eaten more than a pound of salt, as they say. Therefore, we all know each other well,» Peskov said in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda in response to a question about whether the work of the presidential administration has changed after the May reshuffle.
He also noted that the administration is a complex, huge mechanism that deals with extremely complex matters virtually around the clock.
«There can only be one justifiable style of work — it is balance, accuracy, responsibility and the highest professionalism. This style does not change,» Peskov added.
