Russian Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozzhayev reported that four drones launched by the Ukrainian military were shot down over the city overnight, and metal debris fell on the streets.
A nine-story building on Vladimir Simonka Street was evacuated. According to Razvozzhayev, the high-explosive part of the shot down ATACMS missile pierced the roof and got stuck on the technical floor without exploding.
There is no information about other damage in the city or casualties.
The Russian Defense Ministry, without mentioning Crimea, writes about downed and intercepted drones in three regions — Krasnodar Krai, Kursk and Belgorod regions.
According to Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, two people were injured in the drone attack in the region — a resident of a multi-story building in Shchebekino and a man from the neighboring village of Rzhevka.
In the Yaseni farm in Krasnodar Krai, a drone fell at night near a private house, says the head of the district Vladimir Gorb. The explosion destroyed a barn, the windows of the house were broken, but there were no casualties.
The publications Baza and Astra, citing unnamed sources, also wrote about a drone attack on the Kubanskaya electrical substation in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai. Several hours later, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed this, saying it was «slightly damaged.»
