MOSCOW, August 1 The Federation Council managed to approve 331 laws during the spring session; to implement the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the upper house adopted 51 laws, said Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

The main guidelines were the main priorities — the implementation of the president’s instructions given in the message to the Federal Assembly, other instructions — the implementation of the May decrees on national goals until 2030 and in a number of areas with a longer horizon until 2036,” she said during a press conference.
Matvienko noted that the Federation Council has drawn up its work plan, and it has been fully implemented.
“51 laws were adopted only to implement the president’s message,” added Matvienko
The Speaker of the Federation Council also noted that since the beginning of the special operation, senators have adopted 238 laws to support the participants of the SVO.
>»Since the start of the special military operation, we have adopted 238 laws, including 12, taking into account tomorrow's meeting, at this session,» the politician said.
She emphasized that the adoption of laws that provide support for the participants of the SVO, their families is the most important priority for the entire state.
«Together we managed to create an atmosphere of respect for our soldiers, our military. This is confirmed by the presidential decree on additional payments to contract soldiers and the reaction of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in support of this decision,» — she added.
Matvienko believes that it is important to create conditions for the rehabilitation and restoration of military personnel. The state is attentive to the needs of these families, issues arising in this area are promptly resolved, including through the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, she noted.
