An explosion occurred at a market in the Abakumov microdistrict in western Donetsk this morning, RIA Novosti reports, citing eyewitnesses. According to them, a Ukrainian drone dropped explosives on the roadway near the pavilions.
A market employee told the agency that six people were injured: «One was wounded in the head and arm, another in the leg, one market worker was wounded, and another in the shoulder and leg. A total of six people were wounded. It's terrible, there was so much blood.»
There are no victims in the agency's footage from the scene, and only traces on the asphalt are visible.
The authorities of the self-proclaimed DPR have not commented on the reports of the explosion. The Russian mayor of the city, Alexei Kulemzin, only mentioned in the report that in the Kirovsky district, where the market is located, «a projectile was dropped from a UAV» and «a car was damaged.»
