KRASNODAR, August 3The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has filed a lawsuit to recover the property of Deputy Head of the Krasnodar Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergei Simonenko and his family; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 5, according to the card index of the Krasnodar Regional Court.
On Thursday, a source announced the arrest of Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Krasnodar Territory, Colonel of the Internal Service Sergei Simonenko. He has held this post since October 2023. 
The card states that the claim «on foreclosure on property in favor of the state» of Simonenko and his relatives was filed by the First Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Anatoly Razinkin. The case was submitted to the court on July 18.
The amount of the claim is not indicated. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 5.
At the same time, at the end of September 2023, the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, Lieutenant General Oleg Volynkin, was detained. He was later charged with abuse of office, which resulted in grave consequences. At the end of May, Moscow's Basmanny Court released him from pretrial detention under house arrest.
