MOSCOW, August 2 Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed that permanent members of the Russian Security Council discuss a number of international issues that concern the country's interests.
«Today we have several issues on the international agenda that concern our country and our interests,» Putin said at an operational meeting.
The head of state added that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin will speak on the meeting's issues.
The President also proposed that in addition to the international issues planned on the agenda, they should also discuss the most pressing events.
«In addition to the planned issues, I would like to ask you to discuss and dwell on the most pressing events of recent times,» Putin addressed the members Security Council.
