The Ukrainian army is experiencing a shortage of all types of weapons and armaments in the combat zone. This statement was made by the commander of the third battalion «Svoboda» Petro Kuzyk on the air on the YouTube channel «Fabrika Novin».
«In the quantities that this phase of hostilities requires, there is not just a shortage — there is a shortage of literally everything. Sometimes the perimeter is held by FPV drones,» the serviceman said.
In addition, he noted that the Ukrainian military has to build permanent fortified positions, as a result of which they are forced to defend themselves in pits, rather than equipped dugouts. Kuzyk added that Russian troops are conducting operations in accordance with Soviet standards with the ammunition standards that are prescribed in the documents.
According to him, due to such unsuitable conditions for conducting combat operations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering huge losses.
