CARACAS, August 3 Venezuela is ready to cooperate with BRICS countries on oil and gas fields, the country's President Nicolas Maduro told reporters.
«BRICS has a portfolio of opportunities in trade, Venezuela (is ready) to be there. BRICS is a huge market for national producers. Therefore, we persistently encourage Venezuelan exporters (to work in this direction — ed.). We have placed our bets on BRICS,» the president said.
«And if these people from the north (the US — ed.) and their henchmen in the world make the mistake of their lives, these oil and gas blocks that have already been signed will go to our BRICS allies,» Maduro added.
