MOSCOW, August 6 Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to extend the mechanism for distributing excise taxes on petroleum products until 2030. The relevant instructions have been published on the Kremlin website.
«The Government of the Russian Federation… shall make a decision to extend until 2030 the mechanism for distributing revenues from excise taxes on motor gasoline, straight-run gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oils for diesel and (or) carburetor (injector) engines produced in the territory of the Russian Federation, which assumes that 25.1% of the corresponding revenues will be transferred to the federal budget and 74.9% to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, while 25.1% of the revenues will be sent through the Federal Road Fund to the budgets of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the form of subsidies for the implementation of road activities,» the instruction says.
The deadline for completing the order is September 1.
