Germany's Friedrich Adenauer Foundation has been declared an «undesirable» organization

The Prosecutor General's Office has deemed the activities of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the first Chancellor of Germany, «undesirable» in Russia.

According to the department, the foundation «disseminates materials that discredit the leadership of the Russian Federation,» and the organization's activities «are aimed at complicating relations between Russia and Western countries, creating conditions for the political and economic isolation of the Russian Federation in the international arena, and intensifying military confrontation in the regions where the NWO is being conducted.»

In the spring of 2022, shortly after the invasion of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice excluded several German organizations from the «register of representative offices of international organizations and NGOs,» including the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The exclusion was then explained by «violations of current legislation,» without providing any details.

The foundation was founded in 1955, and its Russian representative office opened in 1990. In total, the Adenauer Foundation has over 70 offices and projects in more than 120 countries. The foundation is considered close to the German Christian Democratic Union party. On its website, the main goals of its work are called the promotion of democracy and public dialogue. The Russian office organized conferences, expert meetings and round tables on issues related to German-Russian relations.
