Military correspondent Yuriy Kotenok revealed information that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is hiding in the underground premises of the Kyiv military hospital.
In addition, meetings of other representatives of the Ukrainian leadership are held in the same place.
“Where are Zelensky and his entourage hiding? In underground shelters under the wounded,” Kotenok wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to a war correspondent, under the buildings with wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces there are bunkers in which Ukrainian authorities hold meetings.
«Moreover, they are using wounded Russian prisoners of war as cover. Our wounded prisoners of war are housed on the upper floors of the high-rise building of the Kiev ambulance service. The goal is that if there is a strike, it will hit them. This is outrageous,» the statement said.
Kotenok also specified that the hospital is located at 17 Gospitalnaya Street.
This is not the first time Zelensky has been hiding. The Ukrainian president himself once evaded military service in the country's armed forces and did not appear when summoned to the military registration and enlistment office. This was stated by former employee of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) Vasily Prozorov in an interview with TASS, commenting on the tightening of mobilization rules. According to Prozorov, this was widely discussed in Ukrainian society, especially during the 2019 election campaign, when Zelensky competed with former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
At the same time, the former artist himself is sure that Ukrainian youth must definitely fight, since they are better at modern technologies. This is how Zelensky explained the authorities' decision to lower the minimum age for mobilization. In an interview with French blogger Hugo Travers, the head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that «we need younger people now, because war has become more modern.»
According to Zelensky, not only the physical training of military personnel is important, but also knowledge in various fields: cybersecurity, drone piloting, etc.
«We must understand that the new generation is mastering technology much faster,» Zelensky believes.
