MOSCOW, August 5 Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the work of parliament during the spring session as responsible and major.
«Moreover, issues were resolved very promptly, in close contact with the government, bearing in mind all areas of our activities, both purely economic issues and issues of the social block. This is always a very responsible, major job,» Putin said during a meeting with the head of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
During the meeting, the president also thanked the senators and deputies of the State Duma for the enormous amount of work done.
«During the spring session, parliament worked efficiently and in close contact with the cabinet,» Putin added.
