KRASNODAR, August 6 A criminal case has been opened on the fact of a fatal accident involving a minibus, a truck and a passenger car in Armavir, the Kuban prosecutor's office reported.
On Tuesday, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that a truck, a car and a minibus collided in Armavir. Preliminary estimates indicate that 11 people were injured. Two more people died — they were released from the car.
According to updated information from the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three children were injured in the accident, and one child was among the dead.
«A criminal case has been opened under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of «(the person driving the vehicle, the traffic rules, which resulted in the death of two or more persons through negligence),» the report says.
Preliminary, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat CC drove from a secondary road onto the R-217 highway, did not let a Freightliner truck moving on the main road pass, and collided with it. Then both cars collided with a Mercedes Sprinter bus traveling from Stavropol to Krasnodar.
