According to the company's press release, the new «Serp-VS6D» operates on the maximum number of frequencies of all the systems in this line, developed by engineers from the Vector Research Institute (part of Ruselectronics). The holding assured that it provides effective drone suppression via six communication channels. The high-precision detector and instant digital signal processing algorithms allow detecting and identifying drones in a protected area, minimizing missed targets, as well as false alarms, the company emphasized.
The equipment is capable of continuously monitoring communication and control channels for drones in a 360-degree sector in the horizontal plane, noted Ruselectronics. The company added that if detected, the device automatically or manually turns on a system for guaranteed suppression of radio signals from targets located at a distance of up to five kilometers. At the moment of activation, radio signals are suppressed in all available bands, and the rest of the time the suppression function remains turned off, the company’s release clarifies.
