On the morning of August 6, the Russian army launched an Iskander missile strike on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, said Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional administration.
According to Sinegubov, doctors provided assistance to at least five injured local residents. Two women were hospitalized for surgery, the rest were sent for outpatient treatment. According to the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, a clinic, cars and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Dmytro Chubenko, a spokesman for the local regional prosecutor's office, told Suspilne Kharkiv that 15 multi-story buildings and 25 cars were damaged in the city. The publication adds that the building of the coordination headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war was also damaged — broken glass is visible in the published photo.
Also today, in the suburbs of Kherson, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a street where people were at that moment, said the head of the OVA, Alexander Prokudin. Three women and two men were injured.
The administrations of Kyiv, Kyiv and Sumy regions reported the Russian missile attack earlier — according to preliminary information, there are no casualties. In the Kyiv region, debris from downed missiles and drones damaged a multi-story building, two gas stations and a forester's house. In the Nikolaev region, where air defense systems shot down 13 «Shakheds» overnight, debris damaged three private houses and two recreation centers.
