WASHINGTON, August 6 The volume of imports of goods from Russia to the United States in June of this year decreased by 57.4% compared to May and amounted to $186.7 million, which was the lowest value since 1996, according to data from the American Bureau of Statistics.
According to the presented tabular values, the volume of merchandise imports to the United States from Russia in May amounted to $438.7 million, reaching its maximum value since the beginning of 2024.
The June figure for merchandise imports from Russia was the lowest since January 1996, when it amounted to 183.5 million dollars.
Exports of American goods to Russia in June also decreased compared to May and amounted to 42.3 million dollars, compared to 48 million in the last month of spring.
