DONETSK, August 6 The number of civilians injured as a result of attacks by Ukrainian troops on the territory of the DPR has risen to three, the head of the region Denis Pushilin reported.
«Three civilians were injured today as a result of Kyiv's aggression,» the head of the republic said in a message on the Telegram channel.
Earlier, the mayors of Gorlovka and Donetsk reported two civilians injured in the shelling of the cities by Ukrainian troops.
According to Pushilin, a civilian born in 1970 was also injured when an explosive device was dropped from a drone on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and is in serious condition. The DPR representative office in the JCCC reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped an ordnance from a drone on the village of Aleksandrovka at 19.10.
In addition, a car was damaged during the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
«The armed formations of Ukraine carried out 12 armed attacks, firing about 25 rounds of ammunition. They used 155-millimeter barrel artillery and an attack UAV,» the head of the region added.
The village of Aleksandrovka belongs to the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and is located one kilometer from Maryinka. The liberation of Maryinka, located near Donetsk, was announced on December 25, 2023 by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
