Mash: FSB detained a resident of the Kursk region for filming the aftermath of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Russian Federal Security Service officers detained a 48-year-old resident of the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Kursk region for filming the aftermath of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the Mash Telegram channel, the man passed the video on to a representative of a Ukrainian Telegram channel.
According to the source, after one of these videos appeared online, the author was quickly identified and detained. The issue of initiating a criminal case against him under the article on espionage is currently being decided.
During interrogation, Mash writes, the man stated that he filmed and sent the video to the Ukrainian side on assignment. In exchange for completing the tasks, he was promised a monetary reward — citizenship of one of the countries that are members of the NATO bloc.
On Friday afternoon, August 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the prevention of raids by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into the Kursk region. During the fighting in the region, the Ukrainian army lost up to 945 people and 102 units of equipment.
