A source in law enforcement agencies reported that two A criminal case under the article «Hooliganism» has been opened against the men who beat and twisted an 87-year-old pensioner on a bus in Moscow for a phrase about the Wagner PMC.
The law enforcement agencies did not provide details, but earlier Russian media published a video showing two young men twisting the veteran's arms and insulting him with obscenities.
The men claim that the pensioner uttered the word «murderers» when the bus passed the Wagner memorial on Varvarka.
The victim himself, Dmitry Grinchiy, later told journalists that he did not make any statements about the dead Wagner fighters, but simply recalled out loud at that moment that in 1937 all his relatives were arrested and shot.
