ST. PETERSBURG, August 10 A strong gusty wind on Saturday blew down a balcony railing in one of the apartments of a residential building in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, the district administration reported.
«The balcony fence was blown down by gusts of wind. The management company and the owner will decide on restoration. The area is currently fenced off,» the agency's interlocutor said.
According to her, representatives of the relevant services are also inspecting the Nevsky District to identify all fallen trees, which will be cut down and removed.
On Saturday, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region were affected by Cyclone Ottilie from the North Atlantic, which brought short-term but heavy rains and stronger southerly winds, the city's chief weather forecaster, Alexander Kolesov, reported on his Telegram channel.
