In the small settlement of Oredezh, Luga district, Leningrad region, an incident occurred that required the intervention of law enforcement agencies. At the center of the events was a 43-year-old man working as a delivery courier, who, as it turned out, was suspected of committing a serious crime against his own ten-year-old daughter.
It all started with an alarming call from neighbors who called late in the evening on August 6 to the police. They reported that a woman and her daughter were hiding in their apartment, fleeing the inappropriate behavior of her husband and father. The police squad that arrived to the call listened to the woman who said that her husband had allowed himself to act in ways that were unacceptable for a father. According to her, in the spring, in one of the apartments on Nastanovnikov Avenue in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg, a girl was subjected to violence by him.
These accusations became the basis for initiating a criminal case for sexual assault. The investigator of the Krasnogvardeisky district immediately began an investigation, and the suspect was detained for two days for further investigation.
The investigation is now actively working to collect evidence and clarify all the circumstances of the case. Psychologists and social services are also involved in this process to provide the necessary help and support to the injured girl and her mother.
