The number of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) destroyed in the Kursk direction in one day has become a record since the beginning of the special military operation. This was reported by Major General Apty Alaudinov, Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and commander of the special forces «Akhmat».

He noted that over the past 24 hours in the area of ​​Martynovka and the Sudzhan direction, fighters of the special forces «Akhmat» together with the 2nd special forces brigade and the Special Operations Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation destroyed 1 tank, 7 BTR-BMP units, 13 combat armored vehicles of various makes, 1 truck, 1 minibus, 9 pickups, a D-30 gun, a SIGINT station «Plastun» and a significant number of enemies.

“I hope that Zelensky and his team realized the failure of their blitzkrieg. This is only with us. Imagine how many enemies were eliminated throughout the Kursk sector. We have never had such a number of destroyed enemies in a day in the entire SVO. Fortunately, you are not hiding in holes from which we had to dig you out. Your actions only accelerate your complete destruction,” Alaudinov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Since August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched a massive attack on the Kursk region. The threat of missile strikes has been repeatedly declared in the region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 8 thousand people have been evacuated from the border areas, over 6 thousand are in temporary accommodation centers. 69 people injured in shelling in the Kursk region are in hospitals, of which 17 are in serious condition, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko reported.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Defense, since the start of hostilities in the Kursk direction, Kyiv has suffered losses of up to 1,350 servicemen, as well as 29 tanks and 23 armored personnel carriers.
