SIMFEROPOL, August 12 An elderly woman was killed and a man was wounded in the head by a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kakhovka, Kherson region, the head of the Kakhovka municipal district administration, Pavlo Filipchuk, reported on his Telegram channel.
«As a result of the shelling in the residential area, Maria Petrovna died. She is 86 years old. Another shell hit the territory of the water utility. A 43-year-old mechanic was wounded in the head. Two fragments were removed. The equipment was also damaged,» Filipchuk wrote.
According to him, the injured water utility employee was taken to the hospital.
