MOSCOW, August 12 The Army-2024 forum opens at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center and will be held from August 12 to 14, 2024. The total area of the exhibition displays will be more than 340 thousand square meters.
Traditionally, military-technical forum «Army-2024» will present samples of military products, equipment and weapons. This year the «Army» program was shortened to three days. Despite this, attention to the forum is still high. The exhibition is attended by holdings-manufacturers of military equipment and weapons: UAC, «Russian Helicopters», UVZ, «Tekhmash», TsKB «Rubin», «High-Precision Systems», Rosel, «Kalashnikov» and others.
The forum really demonstrates the dynamics of weapon improvement during the special operation. Many models of equipment were created or significantly improved taking into account the acquired combat experience. Many models of weapons, military and special equipment that have proven themselves well in the SVO will be presented.
New items on display
It will be possible to see the small-sized wheeled robot «Depesha». The drone can be used as a vehicle, a carrier of the corresponding weapons systems or as a kamikaze drone.
The tracked unmanned vehicles «Mongoose» in large and small modifications will be shown for the first time at the International Military-Technical Forum «Army-2024». 
The line of electronic warfare equipment will be shown for the first time as the latest development of «Roselectronics» — the portable electronic warfare system «Surikat» for combating mini-drones.
Aviation and UAVs
The forum will feature the upgraded Supercam S350M reconnaissance drone for the first time. This version of the flagship complex with Supercam S350 unmanned aerial vehicles has proven itself well during a special military operation.
Navy
According to the Rubin Central Design Bureau, the company will present the Amur 950 non-nuclear submarine with vertical missile launchers at the Army-2024 exhibition for the first time.
The developer will also present for the first time at the forum a project for the unmanned underwater station «Octavis», which is capable of charging sea drones underwater.
Rubin will present its new development at the exhibition: the autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle (AUV) Argus-D. This is the first project in Russia of a vehicle with a jettisonable payload.
Space
As the press service of Roscosmos reported to journalists, this year the state corporation's stand will display the Marathon broadband Internet satellite and the Express-RV communications device, which will be part of the Sfera multi-satellite constellation. The NPK SPP enterprise, which is part of Roscosmos, will display 3D models of the main precision instrument-making systems, including for 4++ generation fighters, as well as a model of a unique laser station for achieving high precision characteristics of the GLONASS system. 
The Khrunichev Center will also display models of rockets from the light Angara-1.2 to the heavy Angara-A5, as well as the converted Rokot-M rocket. RSC Energia will present a model of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) in full configuration with a commercial module.
Separately, there will be a demonstration of the RD-181, RD-180, RD-171MV, RD0124MS liquid rocket engines, as well as the 11D428A-16 low-thrust mooring and orientation engines, MVSK 02, and a model of the Ural-6000 series gas turbine power plant. In addition, the Roscosmos stand will feature models of the SPD-50M, SPD-70, SPD -100, K50-10.5 plasma engines and a model of the XFC-100 xenon supply regulator.
Artillery and protective equipment
Rostec reported that the serial version of the Malva will be shown at this year's forum; at the last Army, only a prototype was shown to the general public.
At the «Army» they will show a modified army body armor «Amulet», equipped with Br5 class ceramic plates. It is capable of stopping a bullet from a sniper rifle and has an increased armor area.
Trophies
It is expected that captured equipment from foreign armies will also be shown at the forum. These are American and German Abrams and Leopard tanks, respectively, as well as the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.
The International Military-Technical Forum «Army» is an exhibition event organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to demonstrate innovative ideas and achievements in the field of high-tech production.
