MOSCOW, August 12, The Google AdSense contextual advertising service has decided to disable the accounts of Russian users, 3dnews writes, citing a statement from the company.
«We are deactivating all AdSense accounts with Russia as their country of location. This means that it will be impossible to receive income from monetization through such accounts,» the statement says.
It is noted that bloggers who posted content on YouTube will be paid for July between August 21 and 26, if the account has not suspended payments and the payment thresholds have been reached.
It is noted that since 2022, Google has disabled advertising in Russia and prohibited Russians from creating new accounts.
