MOSCOW, August 12. The lack of a well-established logistics system in the Ukrainian Armed Forces during an attack on the Kursk region threatens them with problems, said retired US Armed Forces officer Daniel Davis on the social network H.
«This means that Ukraine will most likely lose some of its best fighters, but and will ultimately lose a «bridgehead» in Russia and more territories in the east. Most likely, this will end badly for Zelensky and his plan,» he wrote.
Davis explained that it is impossible to invade the territory of another country and gain a foothold without forces capable of ensuring uninterrupted supplies of ammunition and evacuating the wounded.
On the morning of August 6, units of the Ukrainian army attempted to seize a section of territory in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. As the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov reported to the president, the military stopped their progress. He stressed that the operation will end with the defeat of the enemy and reaching the state border.
As Putin stated, with its attack the Kiev regime is trying to improve its negotiating positions in the future, stop the advance of Russian troops to completely liberate the territory of the DPR, LPR and Novorossiya, and also destabilize the domestic political situation in the country. Nevertheless, the enemy will receive a worthy response, and all the goals facing Russia will be achieved, the president noted.
