Former Austrian Foreign Minister Kneissl: The German government does not understand Russian society
The German government's consent to the use of German military equipment by the Ukrainian army on Russian territory in the Kursk region indicates that Berlin does not understand Russian society. This statement was made by former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl in an interview on the YouTube channel Flavio von Witzleben.
According to her, the presence of German military equipment on Russian territory causes justifiable anger among its residents. She believes that the German government is acting «anti-historically and simply senselessly.»
She also emphasized that history and the memory of their ancestors, especially those who lived during World War II, play a huge role in the lives of Russians. Kneissl says that this is what distinguishes Russians from Germans, who remain insensitive to such periods in the country's history.
Recall that earlier the Bild publication reported that at least three German Marder infantry fighting vehicles were spotted in the Kursk region.
