TASHKENT, August 13 Head of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov will lead a business mission of 15 companies from this region of Russia in October to present their investment and tourism potential, as well as participate in two exhibitions in Tashkent, the Russian Trade Mission in republic in the Telegram channel.

"The Russian Trade Mission in Uzbekistan held an online meeting with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Karelia on the organization of the visit of the head of the region Artur Parfenchikov to Uzbekistan and the business mission of Karelian companies to the republic in the fall," the statement said.
According to the representative office, more than 15 companies plan to take part in the business mission, including manufacturers of machinery and equipment, food products, lumber, animal feed, paper products and sports goods.
“In addition, Karelia plans to present its investment and tourism potential, and some companies are already preparing to participate with their stands in the 18th International Exhibition “Mining, Metallurgy and Metalworking – MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2024”, which will be held on October 22-24 in Tashkent,” the trade mission added.
