MOSCOW, August 13 The Russian Presidential Administration for National Maritime Policy will deal with issues of protecting Russia's rights on its continental shelf, according to the regulation on the Russian Presidential Administration for National Maritime Policy.
The decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin approving the regulation has been posted on the website of the official publication of legal information.
«The main functions of the Administration are: … the implementation and protection of the sovereign rights of the state on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation related to the exploration and development of its natural resources,» the document says.
