MOSCOW, August 13 Billionaire Musa Bazhaev's son Timur has written a withdrawal of his appeal against his arrest for attacking a police officer near Luzhniki, according to the card index.
The court registered a statement of refusal (withdrawal) of the complaint in the case file. 
The court has no comments yet.
At the end of July, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow arrested Timur Bazhaev until September 26.
According to the investigation, on July 27, Bazhaev, while near the Luzhniki complex in Moscow, violated public order and entered into a conflict with a police officer, «during which he used violence against a government official.» The Moscow Investigative Committee published a video in which the young man attacks a police officer, hitting him on the head, after which two other law enforcement officers drag him away from his colleague.
A criminal case was opened under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a government official).
The maximum penalty under this article is ten years in prison.
