The first crossovers of the next (fourth in China) generation will go on sale on the domestic market next month.
The Changan CS75 SUV appeared in the brand's lineup back in 2013. It is worth noting that the first-generation model is still in service after a number of upgrades. At the same time, the second-generation crossover debuted in 2019, and to avoid confusion, the company added Plus to its name. This version also went through a series of updates, one of which in China was decided to be considered the third generation. However, now the manufacturer has developed a truly new generation Changan CS75 Plus – the fourth, as they believe in China.

Let us remind you that the manufacturer declassified the appearance of the new Changan CS75 Plus in May; official photos were published almost immediately after the certification images appeared on the Internet. Branded images of the SUV's interior appeared later, in the first half of last month. Some technical details also became known earlier.
Today, serial production of the next generation Changan CS75 Plus has started: the crossover has been launched at the company's plant, which is located in the city of Hefei. It is known that the first copies of the new product will go on sale on the domestic market next month. Closer to this date, the prices for the «fourth» CS75 Plus SUV will also be known.
Let us recall that the list of exterior features of the new crossover includes unusual head optics, which consists of vertical trapezoidal blocks with horizontal LED thin lines, while the headlights are connected to each other by a luminous strip in the upper part. The new Changan CS75 Plus also received a narrower frameless radiator grille with a complex pattern and a luminous logo.
The sides are decorated with retractable door handles and original wheel disks (the starting versions are equipped with 19-inch ones, while more expensive versions will be offered 20-inch «rollers»). The stern is equipped with horizontal taillights connected to each other with a «pixel» pattern. In the upper part of the trunk door there is a fairly large spoiler, and the model also has a body kit around the perimeter of the body made of black glossy plastic.

In the cabin of the new generation CS75 Plus, you can see a large display with contour lighting «superimposed» on the front panel, its total diagonal is 37 inches. It combines three displays — a virtual instrument panel, a central touchscreen of the infotainment system, and a touchscreen for the front passenger. The model received a two-spoke steering wheel with a truncated rim, a steering column lever that replaced the gear selector, a pair of niches for wireless charging of smartphones on the center console.

During the generation change, the crossover became larger. Thus, the length of the new Changan CS75 Plus is 4770 mm (60 mm more than its predecessor), width – 1910 mm (45 mm more), height, depending on the version – 1695/1705 mm (15/5 mm less) . The distance between the axles of the new product is 2800 mm (90 mm more).

Initially a crossover will be offered with a petrol 1.5-liter turbo-four, the output of which is 192 hp, and the maximum torque is 310 Nm (the “junior” engine of the predecessor produces 188 hp and 300 Nm). An eight-speed automatic transmission from Aisin is offered in pairs, and the drive can still only be front-wheel drive. Other versions may appear later, for example, the current SUV has an option with a 2.0-liter engine, as well as with a hybrid installation.
Recall that the Russian office of Changan recently announced the new CS75 Plus for RF, however, we are not talking about the next generation, but about a restyled crossover.
