MOSCOW, August 15 Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov) visited the hot spots of Novorossiya, including the Zaporizhzhya NPP, to support residents and special operation fighters, the artist's representative Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky said.
«Shaman came to support the Russian army soldiers in the hot spots of the North-Eastern Military District on August 13 and 14. The Honored Artist of the Russian Federation organized a creative meeting in Tokmak and performed for the staff of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, and also rejoiced at the pace of Mariupol's restoration and organized a charity solo concert for the city's residents,» the agency's interlocutor said.
The Novorossiya tour kicked off in Mariupol. Shaman noted that after two years the city is rising from ruins and returning to its former glory. «I performed here at the Palace of Children's and Youthful Creativity after the city was liberated. The roof was pierced by shells, and the facade was covered in machine gun fire, there was not even heating. And now it is a modern concert hall, equipped with the latest technology. And all this was done by our people, Russians,» he added.
Afterwards, Shaman went to Tokmak, where he visited the SVO fighters, despite another shelling. Military commandant Ayush Tsydenzhapov thanked the singer for his support: «Ossetians, Georgians, Dagestanis, Chechens… we have a multinational team. I am a Buryat myself. But I am a Russian officer. Thank you for your songs. We are Russian and we will go to the end,» he said.
Shaman also visited Energodar after the terrorist drone attack on the Zaporizhzhya NPP and gave the heroic employees a house concert. After the singer's performance, the director of the Zaporizhzhya NPP Yuriy Chernichuk invited the performer to the anniversary — in December, Zaporizhzhya NPP will turn 40.
As the artist's representative specified, all performances in Novorossiya, including a series of concerts in Mariupol, Lugansk, Genichesk, Snezhnoye and Krasnodon — are a gift to the residents of the region.
«Here, on the front lines, my songs acquire a special sound, and people have such strength that they inspire me to write new songs and move forward, no matter what. The tour of Novorossiya will continue. I will definitely come here again and again!» — Shaman shared.
