Of course, the lion's share of rentals for travelers with children during the peak holiday season in Russia has long been booked. “However, 32% of tourists book vacation accommodation less than two weeks before the trip,” said the head of the Avito Travel department, Artem Kromochkin, who, together with his colleagues, conducted a study of the rental housing market in 61 regions of the country.

According to him, 62% of Russians prefer to spend their holidays with their family. In the daily apartment rental segment, the number of bookings of housing available for travelers with children increased by 25% compared to June 2024. The most noticeable dynamics are in the Sakhalin region (+88%), Primorsky Territory (+73%), Kamchatka Territory (+54%), Karelia (+52%), Khakassia and the Altai Republic (+51% each). More details in table 1.
