«The government is conducting its own investigation within the framework of the anti-corruption legislation. Based on the results of the investigation, appropriate decisions will be made. Accordingly, for now Vyacheslav Mikhailovich is a civil servant,» the publication quotes the head of the region as saying.
The publication writes that after his arrest, Vakhrin retained his position, but the governor distributed his powers among other deputies. For the same reason, he does not receive a salary.
