Automobile fuel prices fell on the St. Petersburg stock exchange

MOSCOW, August 15 The cost of gasoline and diesel fuel on the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) fell by 0.2-0.3% on Thursday, according to trading data.
Thus, AI-92 gasoline according to the territorial index of the European part of Russia fell by 0.34% during the trading day, to 56,178 rubles per ton. The price of the AI-95 brand also fell by 0.34%, to 73,360 rubles per ton. The cost of summer diesel fuel also decreased — by 0.19%, to 61,900 rubles per ton.

At the same time, a ton of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) rose in price by 1.02% in a day — to 39,609 rubles, fuel oil — by 1.98%, to 29,762 rubles. The price of jet fuel rose by 1.57% — to 83,853 rubles per ton.

Russia has a ban on the export of gasoline abroad, except for the EAEU countries. It was introduced on March 1. At the end of May, the ban was temporarily lifted, and in August it was reinstated. The government decided to extend the embargo until the end of the year to maintain stability in the market during the period of seasonal demand and scheduled repairs at oil refineries.
At the same time, there is no need to impose an embargo on the export of diesel fuel, said First Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin.
