MOSCOW, August 14 Russia has terminated the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, signed in 1996 in Strasbourg, in relations with other parties to the document, the text of the official statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
«On August 1, 2024, the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, signed on behalf of the Russian Federation in Strasbourg on February 28, 1996, was terminated in relations between the Russian Federation and other parties to the convention,» the document says.
