Takayama Motor Oils Pass Professional Drift Test

The Takayama Forward Auto team used oils from the new Racetec 20W-50 line in all racing cars at the RDS GP stage held at the Moscow Raceway track.

The new Takayama Racetek line is based on synthetic oils based on polyalphaolefins (PAO, IV group of oils) with the use of an additive package developed for racing cars.

The first experience of using oils of the new line took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The product was tested on Roman Tivadar's Forward Racing S15-006, and based on the test results, an oil sample was sent to an independent laboratory. The study showed that Takayama oil retained its viscosity reserve and alkalinity level, and also demonstrated low volatility. This influenced the team's decision to entrust Racetec with all racing equipment.

Last weekend, Georgy Chivchyan closed the top three in the 5th stage of the RDS GP, scoring 162 points. Based on the results of five stages, Georgy and the Takayama Forward Auto team occupy third intermediate places in the personal and overall team standings.

The Takayama brand has been supporting us for two seasons now. The new Racetec series oils have proven themselves well during test and «combat» runs. Previously, we used lubricants from foreign brands, but their deliveries were often delayed, and their already high cost was constantly growing due to exchange rate fluctuations. Takayama Racetec oils are manufactured in Russia, which means we will not have problems with deliveries and price hikes. Mikhail Pletnev Technical Director of the Takayama Forward Auto Team
