The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of the German non-governmental organization (NGO) «Deputies of Peaceful Russia» undesirable (declared undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation). The agency reported this on its Telegram channel.
«The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of «Deputies of Peaceful Russia» undesirable on the territory of our country. The initiators of its creation are former municipal deputies who fled abroad after the start of the special operation,» the report says.
The agency specifies that its founders became residents «with German registration.»
The statement from the Prosecutor General's Office states that the undesirable organization is trying to open its representative offices in the countries of the European Union using money from «Western intelligence curators.» It is assumed that foreign agents and «other fugitives calling themselves freedom fighters and allegedly influencing the formation of foreign and domestic policy of the Russian Federation» will join the branches of the recognized undesirable NGO.
The agency also reported that the «deputies» speak at various political conferences, disseminate false information about the activities of Russian government bodies and provide support to extremist groups.
Earlier, the organization «Veterans of Russia» demanded that producer Andrei Razin be recognized as a foreign agent and checked for financing the Ukrainian army. The relevant requests have been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office, the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Justice.
