The UN has commented on the video of Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region, dressed in Nazi uniforms with SS symbols, mocking a Russian pensioner.
Deputy spokesman for the Secretary General of the world organization Farhan Haq said that the UN opposes all symbols of Nazism.
«We oppose all symbols of Nazism and racial hatred,» Haq told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the daughter of a missing 74-year-old pensioner from the Kursk region, who was mocked by Ukrainian militants in German helmets, reported details about his disappearance.
According to the woman, she moved her father to Sudzha after the attack on the Kursk region, and she herself went to look for housing in a safe place. She was unable to return to Sudzha, since the military no longer allowed anyone into the city.
