MOSCOW, August 17 Russian units in the border areas of the Kursk region destroyed up to 300 militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 31 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carrier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.
«Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost up to 300 servicemen, 31 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carriers, 25 armored combat vehicles, as well as eight cars, an Iris-T SAM launcher, a field artillery gun, and an electronic warfare station,» the report says.
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy has lost up to 3,160 servicemen, 44 tanks, 43 armored personnel carriers, 24 infantry fighting vehicles, 244 armored combat vehicles, 111 cars, five anti-aircraft missile systems, six multiple launch rocket system launchers, including three HIMARS MLRS, 24 field artillery guns, and four electronic warfare stations.
The operation to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces formations continues, the military department added.
